#Madurodam

This is a miniature park located in Scheveningen, The Hague in the Netherlands it has been like a kind of model of a Dutch village on a scale of 1:25 miniature version that is very attractive since it draws much attention from the whole world, it is composed of several Dutch buildings and monuments that are located in throughout the country.
This major tourist attraction in the Netherlands was built in 1952 and has raised about ten million people since it was built.

This miniature park owes its name to George Maduro in tribute to his memory, who was a law student from Curacao who fought against the occupation of Nazi forces as a member of the Dutch resistance and died in Dachau concentration camp in 1945.

A mayor is elected to govern Madurodam and elected by a municipal youth council consisting of twenty-five students from schools in the region.
