Instant noodles, who doesn't know them? At the Asian supermarket in a variety of variants can be found and also at the regular supermarket you can find a handful of variants. Often these packages have the same setup: Pack of noodles, bag of herbs and possibly a bag of dried vegetables or a bag of oil for that little bit of extra flavor, bring this to a boil for 3 minutes and you have something simple to eat.

This 1.5 variant is mainly to give your standard pack of noodles a little more flavor, it is not too crazy but it may taste like more. The following list I used for the 1.5 version:

  • 2 packs of instant noodles
  • (Salty) Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Ketjap manis (sweet soy sauce)
  • Garlic (fresh, or from a jar, does not matter)
  • Bag Poké/Sushi dressing (seaweed, sesame seeds mix)
  • Pepper

Step 1

Dash of oil in the pan and fry the garlic over low heat. Keep about a teaspoon or a clove of garlic per person

After a short minute after the raw is off the garlic, add 600ml of water (300ml per serving) in the pan and allow to boil

Unpack the noodles and separate the additions from the noodles
