A little lie for good is okay, but if it's something that doesn't benefit your friend or acquaintance, it's best to give them advice to make the whole thing better. As I said, you'd better let your hair curl a little less and, as far as the presentation is concerned, try to give him some advice on how to improve it.
Agree with Schaakfanaat and Encaustichris. That's still better than lying.
You can also say something like, I would do it differently, or. it's not my taste.
