Kinni and Ka (3)
“I'm really glad I was able to snare you,” Kinni stresses again.
“Eh, yeah?” notes Ka. With some difficulty he manages to hide the vibration in his voice.
“For tonight, then,” Kinni adds quickly. “You never know what else could happen.”
Ka seems a good idea not to answer that. He tries to keep a little distance, but Kinni keeps pulling him close to her.
Silently they walk through the village. Kinni's cabin is quite secluded.
It's dark, the moon hid behind a big gray cloud slurry.
Then there's a horrible noise in the distance. Ka recognizes the roar of a tiger. Sounds like he got his prey after a fight.
Ka gets it ice-cold.
