Ko sees the edge of the table coming into sight through the glass. He braces himself.
Kimmie's last move brings the lemonade glass and the canary into the depths.
Ko closes his eyes and hopes for the best.
Kimmie doesn't dare to look either. She keeps her wings in front of her face.
