Un juzgado de la Corte Superior de Justicia de Lima ordenó este jueves al Ministerio de Salud de Perú respetar la voluntad de Ana Estrada Ugarte de poner fin a su vida a través de la eutanasia.
El tribunal consideró que en este caso se encuentran "afectados los derechos a la dignidad, autonomía, libre desarrollo de su personalidad y de la amenaza de no sufrir tratos crueles e inhumanos", por lo que estableció que no se aplique el código penal Peruano -que prohíbe la eutanasia- para este caso para que no puedan ser procesados los profesionales que intervengan en su muerte.
