When Leonie was in bed at night, she was completely dreamy and in love. It would have been a wonderful day with Mandy. They had not had any heavy conversations, but simply enjoyed each other's company. Every time Mandy touched her, a hand on her back, or when their hands touched, Leonie got warm and felt tingling throughout her body. Mandy had been very sweet, had occasionally whispered in her ears and kissed her in passing. An outsider might not even think anything about it, but Leonie felt special and loved. They had dinner together and watched a movie at Leonie's house. During the film, Mandy had pulled her up and put an arm around her. That's how they lay together on the couch watching the movie. Leonie had found it strange and wondered what her children would think if they suddenly came into the room, but she had pushed those thoughts away. Her kids were with Erik, they couldn't just walk in. She invited herself to enjoy the moment. She wore later, she wanted to enjoy Mandy's soft hands that stroked her and gently tossed through her hair.

The next day, Leonie's children came home. Leonie felt trapped between two worlds. Every now and then she dreamed away in Mandy's arms until she was called back to order by her children, and then she realized again that these two worlds could not be combined at all. At least, she didn't see how it was supposed to be.

Apparently, Erik had accepted the contents of Leonie's e-mail anyway. He had not responded to the mail, but Julia reported that her father had talked to her and admitted that he had a very early relationship with Suzanne, but that they would take it easy. For Julia, that was enough for now. Leonie imagined that she would tell Julia about her 'early relationship' with Mandy, if you could call it that and what Julia would think of it. β€œWhat do you think of?” asked Julia, who saw that Leonie's thoughts had drifted off. β€œOh, nothing, nothing at all,” said Leonie. β€œI'll send Dagmar an app to ask if I need to help with moving, I think that's going to happen tomorrow,” she said, more to herself than Julia and took her mobile.
