Leonie sees her successor
#Leonie is a woman in her 40s, she could be your neighbor. After her divorce, she builds her new life. With neighbor Mandy she has dinner appointments of the good kind: Mandy cooks! Love also comes around the corner again, with all the consequences that this entails..
It had tempered the atmosphere a bit, on the other hand they got to know each other better, even though Leonie didn't dare ask all the questions she wanted to ask. She wanted to know everything about Mandy, but she saw the invisible warning signs around Mandy: 'Watch out! Danger! “ Leonie went back to her own house in time. Mandy gave her a loving kiss on her mouth. “When will your children be back?” Mandy asked. Leonie sighed and reluctantly replied: “Tomorrow.” Mandy looked at her for a long time. “Otherwise, I'll just come to neighborhoods for your children and become a neighbor who is friends with their mother.” Leonie smiled.
“Oh, there's Dad with my sports gear!” Julia cried. Leonie heard the front door open and Julia running across the gallery. Leonie was cleaning out the dishwasher and threw a glimpse through the kitchen window. She saw Erik's car in the parking lot and just saw him get out and open the trunk. Meanwhile, Julia also appeared in the picture. The passenger side storage window opened and the face of a young woman appeared. Leonie held her breath. That had to be Suzanne! At least he was a lot younger than Leonie! Suzanne said something to Julia who walked up to her. Leonie followed closely how her daughter reacted to Suzanne. Julia stood a bit casually, apparently answered briefly and then walked back to the back of the car, where Erik was ready with her stuff. She took the bag from him and set back to the door. Julia took a look at the kitchen window and Leonie was too late to step back. She saw that Suzanne was also looking at Leonie's kitchen window, apparently she had followed what Julia was looking at. “Shit” mumbled Leonie. She quickly disappeared from the field of vision and frantically continued to clean out the dishwasher.
Meanwhile, Julia came back in. “Did you see Suzanne?” Julia asked. “Eh, yes, I saw that yes”, Leonie tried to make it light. “Is she a little nice?” asked Leonie. She saw the doubt on Julia's face. “Yes, it is,” Julia said. Leonie noticed that Julia found it hard to say this, children have such a loyalty conflict in cases like this. So Leonie tried to stay light. “Well, that is nice. How old is she anyway?” Leonie couldn't resist it anyway. “She was last birthday, right?” Leonie suddenly remembered the large bouquet of flowers Julia had shown her on her phone. “35 I believe or something” said Julia, who felt the mood hanging. Leonie nodded significantly, but decided not to say anything. “No, 33, I think,” said Julia, who now felt safer and immediately got off the feet.
Leonie grinned at her daughter's action, but still had an indefinite feeling about her. Suzanne was clearly a younger version of herself and the fact that she had seen where Leonie lived felt like intrusion.
