On more than one occasion I have presented my works in this material, the vast majority of them have been lamps or lamps; this time I wanted to share with you my great friends from Yoors an idea that has been spinning in my head and the proposal of @Henkjan by Krijger I catalyze it, I am excited to do it and I would love it to be the prelude as part of other works that I later want to share, I would love the appreciation of some people I admire a lot for their extraordinary manual work: @Mirelle - Create met Kids , @De Knutseljuf Ede ✂️🇳🇱 , @Kinderworkshops Petra and others with a vast knowledge of nature such as @Leo 1 , @Naturefreak , @Natuurfotografie , @Rudy Siedlecki 🌳 , @Leijpark013 among others, hehehehe who removes and suddenly a new species has emerged.

So I took my tools, materials and slowly began to materialize this idea.

First look for the material to be used and the tools to work with it, the essentials the tubes and the milling machine, other materials used are: sandpaper, 1 sheet of letter-type bond paper and pencil to make the guide template.

Let's get started.

For the Body

We take the 1/2" tube and cut

approximately 8 cm and another 1 cm, we are looking for something plastic that is ideal to place in the center of the latter

We glue the parts with silicone, PVC glue or epoxy, sand and make 2 cuts on the top

For the Wings

We draw our design on the paper and cut out, try not to have many details so that the wings are solid

and easy to work with

We transfer the design to the 4" PVC tube, make sure that the drawing is well delineated and sharp as it will be the guide

Place a normal drill or wick to the milling machine, with it drill the tube following the lines drawn, at the end sand and clean

With the use of a heat gun or on the kitchen stove (preferably electric), apply heat to the wings, when the PVC becomes flexible place it on a straight surface,

Assemble and glue the pieces together so we will have a nice butterfly to place on a mobile phone in the house or as an ornament in the garden

If you want to apply color, make the entire surface of the butterfly porous, this is achieved by sanding it, in this way the paint adheres very well to the PVC, use acrylic paints or, failing that, those used for fabric or ceramics
