A primera vista y la forma de crecer, el color y la forma del grupo, puedo decir que la comuna de Schizophyllum es.

La comuna de Schizophyllum es cosmopolita. Esto significa que se puede encontrar en todo el mundo excepto en los postes. El abanico con forma de concha gris-blanco mide aproximadamente de una a seis pulgadas de ancho y se puede encontrar durante todo el año. La parte superior se siente finamente peluda. En la sequía, el Waaiertje se revuelve a estirar en condiciones húmedas.
