The concept and the implications of the shadow have been variously explored by different authors, from the philosophical musings of Plato, to the psychological perspective of C. Jung, to the more literary endeavours of Robert Louis Stevenson. Nevertheless, the shadow remains ever elusive. We cannot touch it, nor grasp it, nor fully define it. Yet every thing on Earth has one, both inside and outside of its body, which will present itself under the right conditions.

That's why @peerke70's invitation to Yoorsies to create posts about shadows really got me interested. You see, I am a bit of a shadow catcher myself. Here are a few of my "catches":
