I have several favorite songs, but somewhere at the top is Masquerade's Guardian Angel.

As a mini Anous I thought that was a great song: I recorded it from the radio on a cassette tape and I played it all the time on my walkman.
Now, years later, I listened and watched the clip on youtube. I noticed that the two men were very insecure. That was the moment that I went further into the band Masquerade.

I always thought it was two men who sang, but nothing is less true. It was one man who is responsible for the vocals and that is Drafi Deutscher. To make it even more fun: none of the performing men is Drafi!

Drafi Deutscher had the gift to sing at different pitches and sang both voices themselves. He himself did not have to be in the spotlight so necessary, so he arranged two men who performed quite anonymously (with masks).

It reminds me of two other men who performed with a song they didn't sing themselves - also one of my old-time favourites: Milli Vanilli.
