With the once again extended lockdown in the prospect, I should have something from the heart. Not only for the “essential professions” work life continues. There is also a whole group of “forgotten” professions that simply continue. In addition, a group with parents, one or both parents have a chronic illness (c'est moi, for example).

Every few weeks you get a nice call from the school that new #schoolwerk ready. There is also a weekly schedule, with the work that the children have to do every day. At first I was very punctual, because yes, of course, you don't want your kids to lag behind in their schoolwork. It went well in itself. . I thought...

My 6-year-old lady was only smart enough not to name half of her schoolwork. So I had not seen the letter that was enclosed with it. Only the stuff that was found in the parent app. “Cackle!” I thought. There was plenty of room next to all the work to get the peace I need for my #endometriose and there were plenty of times when I could lie on my bed crying, because of my #burnout and #depressie . Given that I am also recovering from a breast diminution operation, I honestly had not paid any attention to that older app. I had only done nicely what was in the letter, and that seemed to be done.

In week 2 of the lockdown, I decided to let my daughter socialize with a classman. During that visit, the school work came up and suddenly a lot more and very different works came up.. Eventually, after a little angry and a little frustrated, everything was above water. Since I broke up with her father and she's with him and his parents regularly, I've put everyone to work. Fortunately, we all want the same thing and, to the great annoyance of my daughter, she didn't get out of it.. Everything from then on is finished.

Today I was able to pick up new work. Now I was there and I had a look at it. Three times a week, they have an online meeting with Teams, they have at least three hours every day — but I'm a mother, so obviously you don't have to take it seriously, just make it five — work with. Math, learn to write new letters, read, #online learning environment, squla assignments. I was scared of an accident. How the hell am I gonna do this in between all my “inconveniences”. Of course, with help from my friend, from her father, his girlfriend and family, but still. A slight panic attack shot in my throat.

Show more
Show more
Show more
Show more
