More than just a project, Organic Farming

ECOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE
BY: ANNE VILLALOBOS (YOORS BLOGGER)

Agriculture ecological is an idea that applies in many parts of the world. It ensures healthy food, protects soils, water and climate, promotes biodiversity, increases soil fertility, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and does not pollute the environment with chemicals or genetic engineering.
The main objectives of organic farming are to work with ecosystems in an integrated manner; maintain and improve soil fertility; produce food free of chemical residues; use the largest number of renewable and local resources; to maintain the genetic diversity of the system and its environment; to prevent pollution (a) results from agricultural techniques; allowing farmers to do their work in a healthy way.

One of the most used crops for its practicality is the bancal. This is a basic system of biodynamic agriculture, established by Rudolf Steiner in 1924. By using this method, divisions are made in the ground approximately 1 m (m) wide and the desired length. By leaving no more than 1 m wide you have the advantage that you can work the bench without having to step on it, so you do not clump the farmland. It is therefore convenient to leave a suitable step between bancal and bancal. They must be based on adaptation to the environment, their resistance/tolerance to pests and diseases and their economic profitability. As far as possible, biodiversity must be maintained, which is achieved by alternating different varieties. Biodiversity is given by the integration of components at different levels: soil (worms, beneficial bacteria, fungi, nodules of Rhizobium ); wild species (30% adventitious plants) and with the implementation of crop rotation.
Organic production is regulated by strict European Union regulations, which include requirements for plant production, animal production, inspection, certification and labelling. The result is that organic food is subject to additional controls, carried out by authorized and independent certification bodies, which guarantee their authenticity. Organic agricultural products are good because:
I read 'Organic production is regulated by strict European Union regulations'. Don't you live in South-America ?
