My first visit to Wildlands
Meanwhile it's been a few years, I've been there quite a lot, but for everything is a first time. So did Wildlands Emmen who I visited for the first time in 2016. This was a few months after the opening when this zoo first opened. What struck me very much was that there were fewer animals, than we were used to in the old Noorder Dierenpark Emmen. But also that the animals had much more living space, something I certainly experience positively. Of course, the planting still needs to grow and we have to get used to the fact that you can also do things here.

Wildlands is dan ook geen dierentuin maar een avonturenpark. Vlak na de opening met mijn hele gezin naar toe geweest. Jong en oud hebben echt heel erg genoten.
