At the invitation of @CreasaNL I've been thinking about my life motto.
Of course, many familiar life motos apply to me, but I think there is one that has been with me for years, and most suits me.
It comes from a song by Beth Nielsen Chapman: Sand and water.
My life motto is: Solid stone is just sand and water. and a million years gone by.
What I mean by that?
To me, it says: no matter how important, no matter how great someone seems to be, or no matter how much someone owns: in the end, we are all the same, and we all die once.
And then, finally, we are all equal.
