We've been hearing a lot of beautiful and positive things lately, despite the devastating Corona floating over our globe.
I say despite it, but I have to say because, unfortunately, Corona is living with all of us now.

Yes, so many beautiful things are happening right now, but one thing I haven't heard yet and that's what it must be like when you've known the name Corona your whole life.

My name is Corona and in the beginning of the outbreak of this viral dictator it hurt...
Why did this disaster have to be named after my name?

Yes why, every news item stuck me in the heart painfully.
I'm just honest, at first it got my life pretty confused.

But fortunately I am over that by now and I think of the beautiful drawings of the children, which hundreds of elderly people were allowed to receive.
Yes, now I think of the heroes in care, who hang themselves with aprons, glasses and masks day in and day out.

In the meantime, I think of the solidarity that has arisen.
A ticket for a grandmother, the massive calls and that old, lonely neighbor who now 'suddenly' should not go alone.

I am thinking of massively applauding, singing together from the balcony or from a window.
Yeah, I'm thinking about improving the environment and all because of a virus with my name.

I'm thinking of thinking about what we have, of agendas with room on the day.
I think of driving without striker and of gratitude, now suddenly shown during many walking by a kind greeting and a smile.

My name is Corona, it sometimes feels double, but still I carry her with my chest forward.
Yes, my name is Corona, she brings a change in human hearts and that, despite this dark time, is a beautiful 'new' sound of life.

Dear readers,
I participate in the #YoorsCoronaPositiveChallenge on this writers' forum Yoors and share some poems about my experiences with Corona in healthcare.

If you wish to support me... give a heart (or even more than one ☺) to the poem you think is worth it.

I can win €101, - euro and if I succeed, I will definitely spend them on the elderly.

Today poem number 4: MY NAME IS CORONA

Ps: Do you have a POSITIVE story for me regarding the care of the elderly and Corona, or do you have ideas... then I would love to hear these. #kroon #YoorsCoronaPositiveChallenge #omdenken #positief
