Myrtos Beach, the most beautiful beach in Greece.
Myrtos Beach, located in the northwest of the Ionian island of Kefalonia, has already been named the most beautiful beach in Greece 12 times.
From the height (in the header picture/photo below I am on the edge of the road that goes north) you have the most beautiful view of the white beach and the turquoise-blue sea.
The beach is very famous, especially at Instagram . (Although I'm more of a fan of the smaller, at least as beautiful beaches, as you'll notice when you go to my account.)

Your photos are beautiful, but at the same time I totally agree with you: quieter and lesser-known spots are certainly so beautiful!

look, if a movie has already been shot, it has extra appeal apparently. Oh well, you must have seen it, of course.
@marijke I think most visitors don't even know that a movie was being shot. It's such an “Instagram spot,” where young girls in bikinis sit on the boulders in awkward poses at the edge of the water, squirming on the boulders to stand seductively in a photo.:-)

That is beneficial, if everyone goes to the famous beach, you have the other beaches to yourself.😀
