National applause for care workers against the coronavirus!

A call for the whole of the Netherlands to applaud people who work hard to curb the corona crisis is widely picked up by media and social media. The idea: slap for three minutes at 8 p.m. tonight for care workers, supermarket staff, garbage collectors and all the others who keep society running.
On Facebook is an event created. More than 10,000 people have indicated their interest in the action. Also on other social media, the message is shared a lot. Previously, such actions were already held in Italy, Spain and Bulgaria.
The aim is to collapse for three minutes and to distribute as many images as possible via social media. Claps can be in the garden, from the window or from the balcony.
Yesterday, two different calls went round: one was about an action for today, the other for tomorrow. The initiators of the two actions decided, after mutual consultation, that today the care staff should be given their support with the applause.
