New residents

Friends of ours are about to move. They are in the process of selling their unnecessary furniture. This is because their new home is a lot smaller than their current home.

Partly thanks to their daughter, Marktplaats is called in. One of the pieces of furniture that will also go out the door is a guest bed. But the ad hasn't been on MP for long and there's already a response coming in via their email. After negotiating the price, their daughter gives her father's phone number after negotiating the price.

A little later, a call will be made to our friend's phone number. And after talking back and forth, the buyers want to arrange an appointment to pick up the guest bed. When they received the address, the people on the other side of the line said: “Let the bed stand together”. To which our friend said, “But why then”?

To which the answer was: 'Because we are the new occupants of your home'.
