New Year's Dive...
NOW A MONTH AGO...
Every year the New Year's dive takes place and I always wonder: “Why?”
The water is ice and ice cold, you dive into it with a lot of effort and then immediately turn around.
Has a bet been the decisive factor?
Or is it a bit seen as 'the baptism, so with a conscious choice to live differently...
The cold of course puts the brain on focus for a while and therefore, all these good intentions probably land a little deeper to the mind.
This year the New Year's dive has also been at the beach at the Koetshuis in recreation park Borgerswold in our beautiful Veendam.
What do you think of the New Year's Dive, have you ever participated or rather not, haha? Yeah, I'm kind of curious how you see this.

Nog nooit aan mee gedaan en ik moet zeggen dat het me ook vreselijk lijkt hahaha. Dat water is ijskoud inderdaad en de reden om dit te doen? Die heb ik dus niet, dus doe ik het gewoon niet brrrrrr😉
