On vacation during the coronacrisis: saving

Didi'ms World

Celebrating holidays during the coronacrisis is that possible? And how can we do that? Gradually the borders open here and there. Seems to be a holiday home home an option. But will it be an expensive joke or can we go out without letting our budget explode?

Oh, I'm so glad I always just go out without booking anything. I have to deal with the people who booked vacations and now have vouchers that they can't use or who they don't really want. Because I never book anything I don't have this loss, I'm not attached to anything. My approach to a holiday is as follows. I make sure I have a holiday budget and that I know where I want to go. I'm gonna put my camping gear in the car and go... Because I don't book anything, nothing can go wrong. If a campsite is full (which is rare) then we continue to the next campsite. Now I must say that we avoid popular holiday destinations as much as possible. Because we have our own transport we also have no extra costs at the places where we stay. On the road we take food and drinks and we buy our groceries at the destination. Now I know that many people don't like camping but maybe it's an idea to take a look at other ways of celebrating holidays. The world is so beautiful. I doubt whether I will go on holiday this year if I can at all and whether I will leave my holiday budget for next year in the hope that I will then be able to celebrate without the extreme new abnormal holiday because at this moment the celebration seems to be a long way for me.

But save on your holiday can:

*See if ahouse swapis possible. There are online sites where you can indicate that you are making your home available for a home exchange. You indicate where you would like to go and so you can see if there is a match. I myself think this is a charming idea although I am also a bit hesitant to let strange people into my house even though - from the reviews I have read about this - this seems to be going well. Of course, you can also switch home with someone you know. Well, at least you know who's in your house. An additional advantage is that someone who water the plants and the animals that stay at home (if there are any) is taken care of. Another advantage is that in principle you do not have to bring anything except your clothes and that this can be done with closed fairs.
