People's hardness has been hitting me lately. What strikes me most of all is that everyone seems to be in their own ego. Anyone who doesn't agree to your priorities is an egoist. People who want to travel are a danger. People who want to party are a danger.
We seem to be looking at each other as deadly projectiles. It strikes me that in health we think mainly of physical health. People can't get that virus. People with depression, who languish in loneliness and even become suicidal. There is no understanding for that. That one silenced to death. The fact that psychologists sit with their hands in their hair and mental health care is overwhelmed, apparently that's not a problem. Apparently, that's not science. That's not a concern. A psychologist is not a scientist, I hear it say.
And those weak ones, they need to get out. That childhood... That they just jump off a bridge.

Dat voortdurende gewijs met het vingertje en dan naar vaak pas later blijkt ook nog eens onterecht. het doet me denken aan de tijd dat de joden en de roma de schuld kregen van de pest en andere epidemieën. Nu zeggen we dat dat grotendeels het gevolg was van onwetendheid. Niets nieuws onder de zon dus, lekker een ander de schuld blijven geven.

Tja, wat moet ik er op zeggen... mensen zijn egoïstisch, zit in hun aard. En ik... ik blijf thuis, zit in een hoog risico wat betreft gezondheid. Wil nog ff wat jaren mee. 2 x per week revalidatie, dat is mijn enige uitje...
