Today I saw them in full bloom again. kittens! You can see long branches with a fluffy kitten on both sides. They bloom fully and they are often light grey/white hairy. With in between sometimes also a version with yellow stamen in it.

They can be seen in the spring, this so-called “Cat” willow. They like to be in damp areas, there you can often see them standing. They bloom in March and April and then it's really a spring bloomer.

How funny would it be if real “kittens” grew on the branches? Natuurlijk een beetje humor maar wel een leuke manier om het begrip kittens aan een tak op een ludieke manier uit te werken!
