Yesterday during a walk I saw many honeybees taking a pollen bath. It looked so attractive that I almost dove in myself.
It is spring and the dandelions are currently in full bloom and are a source of nectar and pollen for butterflies, bees and other insects.  These contain proteins that bees and butterflies need to make their eggs and feed their larvae.
Dandelions bloom in March and April, when not many plants are in bloom.
Sometimes you'll see entire meadows turn yellow. A beautiful sight!
