Saarburg bell foundry
July 2008 after months in plaster due to my complicated double leg fracture, we were offered a trip from my mother. We're going to Saarburg near the Moselle. After arrival, we will first explore Saarburg and take the picture. And what do we come across. a Bell Foundry of course we have been there, we thought it still worked but unfortunately it has been a museum since 2002. But it's nice to see that whole process.
Mabilon bell foundry is a historic bell foundry in the German city of Saarburg. The history of the family business dates back to 1590. The Mabilleau family from the French Saumur, on the Loire, traveled around as bell watering cans. Small piece of text from Wikipedia
