The oak process decorups have been the problem in the Netherlands for several years. Especially in the period May to August. These bugs don't look dangerous yet they're dangerous for dogs.

For pets like dogs, it's even deadly. Children can also get sick of this by touching the animal.
The oak processionups are a small mean animal normally they run in groups.

They often walk on the ground in a procession style, (that's where their name comes from) after each other. They can also be found in trees and branches.
Any contact with these bugs is not recommended because of the hairs that can fly around, so stay away from these bugs.

Personally, I don't like insects at all, but I think it's scary enough. The oak process decorations are one of the most unpleasant insects that walk around it. They often occur in areas where pine trees stand together in large numbers

Warn children not to pick up these critters just like that. The fine little hairs of these bugs are poisonous and dangerous. If you have pets please pay extra attention!
If they fall on your pet, do not touch it with bare hands, this can cause annoying irritation, which consists of itching and pain. People and pets can get into shock.
Are the caterpillars dead yet? Still, this could be dangerous. So do not hit them even more with a stick, this will cause the hairs to fly around. The best way to burn the hairs is to prevent it from flying around.
