At most, make sure that certain books are not seen by (too) young people. Prohibition has such a heavy burden.

I think a ban on books goes a long way, I must say. In my opinion, prohibiting something is also pointless. What is prohibited will then be found in another way. I think it's better then to provide information about why a particular book could or wouldn't work if it wasn't actually suitable for a particular group to read. So teach and inform more than prohibit, so to speak.
