Silly Putty is malleable stuff that bounced and used to make prints. There used to be petroleum in newspaper ink. Pressing the Silly Putty on the text created a print. This print allowed you to stamp. Silly Putty was extremely popular among youth in the 60s and early 70s. A while ago it was re-marketed under the name Putty. It is now available in a variety of colours as opposed to the Silly Putty of the past, which was only available in one color. Did you guys have it too?
