Sinterklaas mood lights
Do you have any empty jars anywhere? From the jam, peanut butter or applesauce? Then clean and dry the jar and make it a Sinterklaas mood light. Below are some silhouettes, cut out one of them and stick it to theinsides of the potty.
You can save the print from above and then print it out. For the example on the right, the print is printed at 60%, but it is possible to get bigger!
If you print it out on transparent foil, then it's even nicer, but if you just print it out on white printer paper, that's fine too. Cut out the images globally with a white border around them, you will see almost nothing of that in the end.
After that, with white paint, sponge it a little dense, but it does not have to be completely opaque. Any acrylic paint is possible, but we used the Creall Top deco, which is a bit more opaque. Some dab with a piece of sponge is good enough, because it's nice when it lets some light through.
After drying, you can put a candle or tea light in it. On batteries, or a real candle. If you make three, they'll be nice next to each other on the windowsill! Then Saint Nicholas can see from the outside that you are waiting for his arrival!
