Song of the day

British pop, new wave band Red Box released the single For America in 1986. It became a top ten and number one hit in several countries, but not in the Netherlands. We here in the Netherlands really only know Red Box because of that one song For America, which was again more popular in our country than their country. The single stayed in the top 40 for nine weeks. The band was formed by Simon Toulson-Clarke in 1983. Before that, Simon had had a few other bands as a student. At the age of 14, he started his first band at school. Red Box stopped in 1990 and started again in 2010 to the present day.
