The Chatogekko amazonicus is most commonly found in the Amazon rainforest.
However, other geckos live in the Amazon, such as the tropical house gecko (Hemidactylus mabouia), the pygmy gecko (Pygmy gecko) that lives in the litter layer.
Geckos are a group of reptiles that belong to the lizards.
Their name is derived from the clicking to screaming sounds that they make, especially during the mating season.
