The schools have started again. Daughter number 1 goes to school every other day, while daughter number 2 continues where she left off and goes to school every day.
This gives daughter 2 the necessary challenge in her behavior, because she doesn't think it's fair. Regular education, and sitting in a school with 310 students is just so that they have to do every other day.
Special education, and a school with 85 pupils is another story.
After explaining daughter 2 still doesn't think it's fair (and I understand that part), and she goes to school every day with grumbling.

The challenge is now with daughter 1. Sighs, work at home again. That all home education started, daughter 1 could not work independently. Okay, sometimes I do, but often I don't. The courses arithmetic, automate and spelling give the challenge. And oh, I get that all too well!
I saw in daughter 1 already a small I variant, and now with home education at all. 😰

My father and I have paid a lot of attention every day with both ladies to what they find difficult. I say rightfully liked, because I/we see that they have gained a lot of plus points with their commitment and personal guidance. No, it did not go without a punch, the note booklet has already flown through the room including pencil trays, and there have been real situations that and everyone had to walk away to cool down. But I/we have achieved that daughter 2 reads, and daughter 1 is better able to work independently because she understands it.

Monday, the day that the 'normal' life would begin again, hubby had forgotten his bread. Daughter 1 who was at home because she was only allowed to start Tuesday, drove with me to the location where hubby was working.

On the way home, I was talking to Bry about her homework. Now she says, “I have to write a page in my writing, too.” Oh, that's nice, I thought. So I asked, “What are you going to do?” She looked at me with big eyes, “I don't know.” And she took a sip of her ranja, which she had received on the construction of Dad's colleague.

It was quiet for a while, because yes the radio still did not do it in the car, but that would be fixed Wednesday if the car had to go to the garage for the apk and maintenance.
Then I heard in my head a big PLING... “Bry, how about The Tree at the Roundabout?”
Those big eyes again, “Mom, what are you talking about?”
Oh help, my fantasy takes over the direction, and I'm starting to tell.

'On the edge of the large forest are a few small villages. Connected to each other by 3 roundabouts. The villages are very far apart, so the roundabouts do not see each other. By following the long, vowel roads you pass the 3 roundabouts, and the middle roundabout is one not to forget.
At the middle roundabout there is a tree. Not just any tree. The tree is not only high, with a very wide and perfectly round branch forest, with red leaves in it, also its trunk is special, because when the sun shines on it in a certain way, the trunk seems silver in color. In summer, despite the long road, many cyclists pass by. It often happens that people stop and take a picture of the tree.
About 100 meters from the roundabout there is a house where they sell ice cream, called the 'ice range' that the owner makes himself. That's why the owners of the ice farm have placed a bench around the roundabout with the beautiful tree as a view. '

I said to Bry, you can tell so much more about the tree. “Well, Mama, I'm not going to do that, if you like it so much, you do it nicely.”
Sigh, yeah, that's a good idea, I thought.

What do you think, would it be a good start for a #kinderboek ?
That's something I really would like to do... while I write this, there are lots of ideas that I can incorporate into the story about the tree...

I think there's gonna be a sequel, because from Monday, the tree is haunting my head, with all its #avonturen . 🤪

Until later!
