The sulphur girl.

It was on a harsh winter day, the last of the year.
It was really frosty cold and the wind, which blew snow through her hair. Yes, it was New Year's Eve, stone cold and her shoes were gone.
One was taken from her and one she had lost.
Two little barefoot, but people didn't seem to disturb themselves. She's been walking around all day, but no one saw her go.
She didn't sell either, no no one saw her standing. She came from a family with a lot of poverty and especially love was very below par.
On New Year's Eve, believe it or not, two parents, this little girl, put on the street with a message. A clear message was given to her:
“Make sure you sell everything or you'll experience something!”

Full of fear and icy cold, she kept walking through the streets.
She didn't manage to sell even one sulphur stick.

She looked secretly into the houses, her heart broke, she never knew.
She saw a mother with a baby, it was spoiled with a loving embrace.

She saw sociability, laughing and singing.
But this little girl became heartless and rough, forced out into the streets. She was looking for a spot out of the wind when it got dark.
She fell softly in the snow there, oh poor child. She was very hungry and she shivered from the cold.
She wondered in mind if a baton would burn. She took a sulfur stick and she crossed it along a stone.
She folded both hands, gently around.

In the light of the baton, she saw a nice, big stove.
Oooh lovely, she could warm her feet. She stepped forward quickly, but just in front of the stove, extinguished the baton.
Road stove, away heat, road light, the dark managed to rob her mind. In a hurry, she quickly lit a stick again,
but now she saw a great feast.

Eating all, even a roast goose.
Did she see that well? Year. and he made a dance on the table. The light goes out again, but the girl won't let it be deprived
and again she strokes a stick along the stone.
It was the third time and now she sees all slightly around her. A Christmas tree with a thousand lights, she doesn't know what she sees.
Full of wonder, she forgets the cold, her pain and sorrow. In the light she feels good, in the light everything is so nice.
If only her life could always be in a shining light. Slowly, her thoughts begin to fade.
and the beautiful tree; it turns out 'just' the sky, which makes its stars bear. She freaks out, she takes all the sticks, the whole bunch and she even stands by it.
“No. don't go away, don't go away from me.” In her other hand, she still wears a boulder, a hard cold stone.
And with all her strength, she pulls all the sulfur sticks over it in 1 motion.

A beautiful light is created, so beautiful, it is almost impossible to describe.
Suddenly she sees her deceased grandmother and she wants to stay with her so bad. She begs: “Take me”, tears shoot in her eyes.
A smile appears around her mouth, she feels protected and moved full of love. Her grandma, years. there she once knew real love.
Grandma stretches her hand and the girl. has never run so hard. Her grandmother came to get her. Cold, pain, anxiety, sadness? No, never again.
Her grandmother came to get her and now they're with the Lord. The sulfur girl, with sticks in her hand.
The sulfur girl, she burned them one by one. It was a long cold night,
but that she spent in the light. And when she was found in the morning,
she had a smile around her mouth.

My heart goes out to many that are in the same position. Too many are too busy to notice the pain in this world!
