The oldest dragon tree in the world

I was able to photograph it: the oldest dragon tree in the world !
It is estimated that it is between 800 and 1000 years old and about 18 meters high. They can estimate this because the plant grows about 1 cm per year.
The trunk is hollow inside and builds on the outside. So he has no annual rings.
If the bark is damaged, a red resin is released. Hence the name dragon blood, which dates back to the time of the Romans.
He is now protected in a botanical garden in Icod de los Viños, Tenerife. You can get tickets here purchase.
