In the western part of the city 's-Hertogenbosch, on the 'other side of the rail' you will find 'The Paleiskwartier.'This district was developed at the end of the 20 e century and at the beginning of the 21. Indeed, construction is still not fully completed.
Originally on this spot you found the former industrial estate 'De Wolfsdonken', but nowadays you come across striking architecture for homes, schools and businesses. The grounds are ideally located, not too far from the old town and close to the main train station. In fact, it is precisely this station that lies exactly on the border of city and Palace Quarter.
As mentioned, the district is characterized by special architecture. For example, the attentive viewer could recognize the bow and bridge of a large seagoing ship, or in the specially formed flats the sails of a large sailing ship. Maybe it's better to let some pictures give a little impression.
