I don't expect an answer.

It's time to close the coffin. Gently glide my fingertips over the red velvet upholstery and touch the brass latch. It forms a perfect final resting place. I put her down tenderly, as if it was a sleeping woman who could wake up at any moment, desperately needed her rest. Another fleeting kiss goodbye. My lips touch the air vacuum above the still open chest, perhaps as a tribute. A sigh of relief escapes me. Before you know it, the night is over, and I can't use daylight right now, not while the coffin is still above the ground. Not until the secret is buried forever.

I put the collar of my coat up, a scarf covers most of my face. It will not be superfluous. The night is cold, the wind is bleak. With a loaded trolley, I'm going out.
