The tropical island is not big, but it is unfortunately right now my whole world. To walk around the island through the beach I might need an hour — that's all.. I'm not quite sure, because my watch did not survive the shipwreck and my phone urgently needs an electric drip.

Just to be clear: this is not here, because there are no provisions. Besides, there are no people. I'm all alone. That might be nice and quiet, but also rather lonely. And: there are no shops that can score anything of food. The last crumbs from my food supply have disappeared.

I have the choice: to starve, or to see if there is something edible in nature. Those breadfruit in that tree, is that something, maybe??

Well, if you're hungry, you have to do some. Then the strangest things taste. Would it venture!!
Well found, Hans. That combination of the parts of the words brings me to ideas. Well written.
I would try a tiny piece. (Must be hard, huh? ? To be so suddenly entirely on your own ?)
