Me fascinan las leyendas, lo oculto y lo misterioso, cada pais tiene sus historias que fascinan a los habitantes y turistas. El cine tambien muestra muchas leyendas algunas inventadas otras extraidas del acervo cultural de las regiones, una que ha cautivado y llamado la atención estos ultimos años es la historia de un barco fantasma que surca los oceanos sin poder llegar a puerto, ¡a ha la reconocen! si el tema central en una de las pelicula de la saga de los Piratas del Caribe del famoso pirata Jack Sparrow, en realidad es una leyenda en los Paises Bajos, ese famoso barco fantasma llamado como el Vliegende Hollander o el Holandes Errante en ingles, ha trascendido de generación en generación, cautivado y fascinado, en donde abunda la actividad maritima, quizas mas de uno habrá afirmado haberlo visto, aunque en la pelicula se nombra a su capitan como Davy Jones, la historia reseñada sobre la misma habla de un capitán burgués de Holanda llamado Willem van der Decken, quien hizo un pacto con el diablo para poder surcar siempre los mares sin importar los retos naturales que pusiera Dios en su travesía, como castigo por tal osadía es condenado a navegar eternamente sin rumbo y sin tocar tierra, otras historias cuentan sobre el padecimiento de cierta enfermedad que contagio a toda la tripulación condenandola a navegar por los mares pues se le impidio llegar a puerto, esta leyenda como otras enriquecen el acervo cultural de la región, haciendola mas atractiva e interesante.
