Thou shalt not judge
Do not judge...: a common pronunciation
Very many people - especially in our country - know that phrase all too well. The sentence is used all the time to lecture fellow human beings, to set off the loaf or to drill into the ground. After all, as a human being you cannot judge, because every person has the right to his own opinion.

I would like to challenge those who love this phrase to set a good example. 'Thou shalt do not judge” holds in my opinion - in accordance with the interpretation adopted by the majority of the population - in that no one may lecture his or her fellow human beings (regardless of the colour of the skin or life vision), be allowed to lecture, or drill into the ground.
Unfortunately, with many reactions - especially from the supporters of this vision - I taste an unpleasant aftertaste. Hence this challenge.

In my own interpretation of these words, I take into account that behind judgments there is a comma written. The sentence continues. The full text in the Bible reads: “Do not judge, lest you be judged”.
And that's a different cake. Every man is blessed with a mind and a conscience. So every person has the opportunity to make choices. Serious choices, where a judgment is made. You also choose your friends; and judgement undeniably plays a big role in this.
Kan hij wel, maar wil hij niet? Dan is hij kwaadaardig.
Kan hij wel en wil hij wel? Waar komt dan het kwaad vandaan?
Kan hij niet en wil hij niet? Waarom noemt men hem dan God?
