On 28 May at 12.00 my very last exam was over. That means: holiday! And it's a very long holiday, it lasts no less than until August 30 (then the mandatory introductory days of my studies begin). Actually, I have three months of summer vacation. I think that's quite relaxed, but actually those three months are way too short. I have quite a lot of plans for this holiday! I thought it would be nice to share these plans with you, maybe you'll still get some inspiration from them!

What I want to do in June

Not that many specific days are fixed in June, but I already have a lot of nice things on the schedule for this month!

  • 3 June: an afternoon with the choir where we get a course of body percussion and rehearse a lot.
  • 9 and 10 June: with the choir to Texel to see aChoral Evensongand of course enjoy the nice weather we ordered!
  • June 13: the day of the call! Between 3:00 and 4:30 that day, I'll know if I graduated. Then you can get off the flag! Or not... just wait and see.
  • 14 to 18 June: to London! A friend and I fly to London early on June 14th, then we have about 2 days to do tourist things and then on June 16th and 17th is West End Live! West End Live is a (free) musical festival on Trafalgar Square and since my travel companion and I are a big fan of musicals, that is of course a must to go to one day in our lives. Now we're free, so this is our chance!
  • 19 June: Re-exam history. It's still exciting if I succeed because that depends on the level of the n-terms, but I already know that I want to redo history. For the history exam I learned very hard and normally I am always very good at history, but during the exam I got a blackout which makes me an insufficient for history anyway. If I don't succeed and have to do a rematch, it's history. If I succeed, I would also like to redo history, if only for myself to get the feeling that the result I achieve is fair to my preparations.
  • 24 to 27 June: visiting a friend in Germany. On the website of the Deutsche Bahn I was able to book a return for €39.80, for a trip from the train station closest to my house to the train station closest to her house. Even a return from my home to Maastricht or Groningen is more expensive!
  • 28 June: a kind of introductory day at my new study. I feel so much in the mood.

So in June I'm going to make 3 trips and besides that I want to work a lot so that I earn a little extra. Despite the fact that I'm relatively gone, there are still a lot of days left in June on which I am at home!
