The Artist Tons Schulten , born in Ootmarsum, is a well-known Dutch abstract artist. He has his own museum where you can admire all his works. His work is full of colour, light, emotion and enchantment. His paintings are mysterious, powerful and warming. And the best part is, his style and way of painting children can also simply apply to create their own, self-made abstract art!

In de werken van Tons Schulten zie je veel composities van landschappen met veel horizontale lijnen, met daar weer veel verticale lijnen aan toegevoegd. Houses and air etc are divided into boxes, and each box gets a different light link in color. It gives such a nice effect, and also for children this is not difficult, and the results are stunning! You could do the lessons in 3 classes, as Team Elementary School did.

Do you want to make these cheerful and colorful city buildings? This can be done with 6 or 7 colors of paint, solid paper (or canvas board), pencil and a ruler!
