Travel blog day 5: Krk, the eponymous capital of the Croatian island of Krk.

We are completely settled in our holiday home on the island of Krk, in Croatia.
Today we visit the island's eponymous capital. By the way, it's the only real city on the island.
It is a medieval town and that is clearly visible in the city walls, the watchtowers and the castle.

Ik herken het meteen weer! Ik zie me zo weer liggen daar aan het strandje bij die haven op de kiezelstenen en dan het water in met mijn waterschoentjes aan. Helemaal naar links lag het hotel.

Croatia is on my bucket list. The first time I ever got an idea of what it was like was on a tv show where a couple was looking at moving there permanently. Interesting to know that this is their only real city, wow, but I think maybe that's what makes it so special.

@Mónica In Croatia there are a lot of cities, but this is the only city on the island Krk. ;-)
