The 'Norry' - a cute little friend that fits in your pocket
When I first started with my Etsy page, I figured it would just be a nice hobby and maybe, one day, it could grow into an extra income from home. When the shop really took off in November last year ( I was still testing at that time ) I noticed it's true potential. But then ...
I met the Norry ... Huh? What's a Norry? Norries are little, round creatures that can be found all over the world. With their minky fur and polybead filling, they are perfect to squish and cuddle.
Nobody knows where they come from really - they just appear when you need them in your life.
The first Norry that came to me, is Mina. She has a pale, pink fur and the cutest little, black eyes.
Sometimes I just take her out to the garden and have a little chat with her. Other times, she sits on my desk at work, keeping me company.
Even though they're small, Norries have the habbit of chasing away bad dreams and negative emotions. It is believed that a Norry can wander the world for years, before finding the perfect friend. Once he finds 'his' person, he will take care of you forever.
By day, when you're out for work and you can't take your Norry with you, he will sit patiently and wait for you at home. That doesn't mean that they like to be alone, on the contrary.
Norries are actually social creatures and they need to be in contact with others. So if you can't keep him close to you during the day, make sure to provide another Norry friend for him!
So that's it. A little introduction to the Norry - a small, magical creature that takes away your worries and is there for you whenever you need a small friend that fits in your pocket. Right now, these little guys are not available in my Etsy store yet - I still have to persuade Mina into telling me where I can find others! Norries really aren't that easy to find, but whenever I find one that is looking for a new home, I will put him or her up for adoption!
Untill then, keep a look out on my website www.nonosshop.etsy.com
Have a nice day!
