Angel Falls (Kerepakupai Vená in Pemón, which means "waterfall from the deepest place") n 1 is the highest waterfall in the world, with a height of 979 m (807 m of uninterrupted fall), 1 2 3 originated in the Auyantepuy. It is located in the Canaima National Park, Bolívar, Venezuela; a protected natural space, established as a National Park on June 12, 1962 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994 that extends over an area of more than 30,000 km² (similar to the territorial extension of Belgium), until the border with Brazil and the territory of the Essequibo .
This jump was discovered by James Crawford Angel Marshall, better known as Jimmy Angel, he was an explorer and aviator of American origin, who is credited with the news of the existence of the Angel Falls in Venezuela in 1937, this Jump is named after him, the plane is at the entrance to the Ciudad Bolivar airport.
