Revenge porn in the form of nude photos, we all know that this is evil and really not okay. But do teenagers who get mobiles at very young ages know that too? They get access to everything, also “wrong networks”.

I won't go into it too much, but... I've had to deal with it too. Not so much myself, but my  best friend in high school. We shared everything with each other, really shared everything.

One day she came to me and showed some WhatsApp conversations with me that she had with a man she didn´t know in real life.

She was threatened to send naked photos of herself, if not something bad would happen to her family. Unfortunately, she actually did this. Enough about that.

I heard yesterday on the news that, as of this year, there's a new law on revenge porn and sexting. Finally this should have happened much earlier.
The Public Prosecutor's Office in the Netherlands even asked young people to think along about possible community sentences, fines and even prison sentences.

Revenge porn is a breach of the victim's privacy. Revenge porn is a crime against sexual freedom. Every person has the right to decide for himself whether and in what way he or she wants to be sexually active.
In this case, it is decided for the victim that the images come online and their rights are not respected.
