#Veranderingen.
Wow, it can all go so weird.
For 14 years I've been fighting to rise higher and lead a life in showbiz.
In 2006 I started singing the Dutch song, hobby. In 2010 I found a new hobby, namely figuring.
This was already a nice combination. On April 1, 2014 I decided to jump into the deep and register with the Chamber of Commerce as singer/entertainer. Then suddenly you get a blow in health and you think that everything has been for nothing. With a huge willpower, fighting spirit and support from family, friends and fans, I started to fight to recover. All this successfully. After more than four weeks I was back on stage and there was little to nothing left of my face paralysis.
In December 2017 I auditioned for two musicals. Then you get a message from both that you're through, but the smaller production immediately had a role for me and the big production had to choose for skilled people. At least they would keep my data and put me in the system. I had to make myself more interesting with the smaller productions. I will certainly do that, with pleasure.
For seven months we all worked on a great production and the reactions were very positive.
I thought that after that I could pick up the music again, because singing had become my work. More than two months after the musical I got a phone call saying that I had a role in a Groningen crime novel “Liek behind de badde”. Not knowing it was a leading role. I was so happy, because now I was able to develop myself in this. The film premiered on 28 September 2019 and that was an amazing experience. The film will continue to be screened in various village houses and to this day it still plays in the northern village houses.
Because I ended up in the local media, I also got in touch with other people. That had its advantages, because I was asked by a host at the local broadcaster to be his successor to his program. He wanted to do something else for the local broadcaster. Now, from December 20, 2019, I will be watching live on TV every Friday night with a co-host. We present a talk program with various table guests and a different artist every week.
In the last quarter of 2019 I also became floor manager at a media company with whom I now have big plans. We will work closely on a nice project to give artists or organisations/companies even more attention. You have to make every effort to achieve as much as possible.
By this #veranderingen I was also forced to close doors, because there were a number of them ajar that I could easily open. Of course I will never forget where I come from and with this in my mind I will fight hard to achieve my goals.
Giving up is not an option at all and that's not in me either. There have been a number of setbacks, because in the world of showbiz there is a lot of jealousy and envy. It's never nice to read something negative (lies) about yourself, so I just ignore it. To be able to say this has taken a while and a lot of conversations have preceded it with the police. Some people go on and go public accusing you of something, and that falls under “libel and slander”. It's bizarre what people do to get better on their own, but they forget that it can also work against it.
My last conversation with the police has made me stronger and opened my eyes. It gave me a certain strength to be able to put it aside. Sometimes you just need that, and now I see it all as a positive change. This lesson will assist me to achieve my goals... My goals, and I will never lose sight of that.

Er zijn mensen die een ander het 'licht in de ogen' niet gunnen. Jammer dat zelfs de politie er aan te pas is moeten komen. Top dat je doorzet! En leuk weer wat van je te zien hier. Herinner me je deelname aan GTST :)
