Very charming!
Together with daughter on her way to the bank to apply for a credit card for her trip to Thailand. It is quite busy and we still have to wait a while, so we first decide to have lunch and then come back again.
When we return, it is a lot quieter and we can wait our turn in very comfortable chairs. So comfortable that as soon as it's our turn, I have a tiny bit of trouble getting up from the chair. They're, uh, rather low to the ground.
In the end, I manage to get up from the chair with the shame on my cheeks.
The bank clerk sees it and says, “They're kind of low, huh?“But you managed it very charmingly.'
