Waterdogs

It's been quite a rainy week in Pretoria, our Decembers are normally very hot and sunny.

Most families plan a poolside Christmas but, this week has found us indoors drinking warm drinks and watching movies.

A few weeks ago, it was so hot here that our dogs decided to take advantage of the swimming pool.

Meet Gamorah, my two-year old Doberman Pinscher. She absolutely loves swimming and no fear of water. She'll dive right in with no questions asked.

Charlie, our chunkier, chubby dog is a cross between a labrador and a corgi. Honestly, we have no idea what dog he is but, he loves water just as much.

These dogs definitely make use of this pool more than we do. I will share a video of them in action soon.

@Mónica Oh yes! Definitely! And I have a miniature pinscher as well. She also has no fear. 😅

Swimming must be fun in hot December. As we are north of equator,we have cold December. It doesn't snow but gets cold to -1 and -2. Hope raining subsides and you can go outdoors having fun at Christmas.

@Just read(en) It doesn't snow where I live either, our winters also get to -1 and -2 but, we never get snow in Pretoria. It's still raining today. 😂 But I guess we can be greatful for the rain because, out farms really need the rain. It's been a dry year. These dogs are missing the pool a lot though.

Aww, they seem to be having the time of their lives! If you wanna know how to have fun, just look at a dog and you'll know. Beautiful creatures 🙂

@Adriana Yes, they love swimming. Especially, my doberman Gamorah. 😁 She looooves water. Very true what you say, just look at your dog and they will show you how to love life.
