What do you do first if you're stranded on a deserted island with limited resources?
You're stranded on a deserted island and need to decide what to do next. Do you try to build a signal fire to attract rescuers, start constructing a raft to try and reach civilization, search for food and water to survive, or explore the island to see if there are any other resources available? It's a classic survival situation and the choice you make will determine your fate. Actually I’d start making a sheltered ‘bed’ that will protect me from nocturnal animals. Then water.
My primary concern would be water and food. Meanwhile, I'm exploring the island. You never know I'm not alone. Then I'm looking for shelter. It's going to take forever to make a fire, so if I've done it all, I'll spend my time lighting a fire hoping it will burn and keep it burning.

First, you're going to see that you can get food, and in the meantime, you can continue your plan to make a fire and see that you could reach other people. Everywhere there is always a way to go, I've always been told earlier.
I chose the basic necessities. After that, I would find (make) shelter. Then try to make a fire. In the meantime, keep an eye out for ships anywhere. Place branches on the beach in the shape of the word “HELP”, so big that you can read them from the air.
I think the first thing is to try to survive, then with a colder head, to create a plan to be able to return home
I don't have to think about it, but I imagine it's really the case and then I'll first look for food and water. That seems to me to be the first thing that is necessary to at least stay alive.
I would start with a round of exploration to see what water and food can be found and thus determine the next tactic.
